Fluid Gameplay Meets Portable Experience
Easy Day Studios reveals Skater XL will drop into the Nintendo Switch universe on December 5. The studio promises a high-fidelity experience, locking in a solid 60 FPS in both handheld and docked modes. With physics-based gameplay, Skater XL aims to be the most responsive and authentic skateboarding experience available on the platform.
Multiplayer Sessions and Replay Editor: More Than Just Tricks
Online multiplayer freeskate sessions are not left behind. Iconic skate landmarks serve as the backdrop for players to shred and film their epic lines. A built-in replay editor further complements the experience, allowing gamers to immortalize their perfect tricks and lines.
Modding Community Powers Skater XL’s Expansive Content Library
Skater XL will leverage Mod.io to offer Switch players immediate access to a broad array of mods. From indie skate brands to player-designed gear, the title’s modding community counts more than 100,000 Discord members actively producing an ever-expanding catalog of content.
Skate with the Pros and Jam to a Legit Soundtrack
Players can step into the shoes of real-life skateboarding pros like Tiago Lemos, Brandon Westgate, Evan Smith, and Tom Asta, each bringing their unique gear and style. Adding to the atmosphere, the game features a curated soundtrack that includes tracks from Modest Mouse, Interpol, Animal Collective, Future Islands, and Band of Horses.
