SwissGames Showcases 22 Swiss Studios at gamescom 2023 | Indie Game Highlights and Line-up

SwissGames, an initiative by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, is set to showcase 22 Swiss game development studios at gamescom in Cologne from 23 to 27 August. This annual event serves as a platform to promote Swiss indie game developers both domestically and internationally.

Diverse Line-up of Games

The SwissGames line-up for gamescom 2023 offers a diverse mix of 2D and 3D games, ranging from hand-drawn artistic single-player experiences to vibrant multiplayer titles. Visitors can expect an array of innovative and engaging gaming experiences.

Munch by Mac n Cheese Games

One of the highlights of this year’s presentation is the action rogue-lite game called Munch, developed by Mac n Cheese Games. Set in a dark fantasy world, players embark on a quest to defeat enemies and devour them, gaining new forms and abilities. The game’s motto, “You are what you eat,” epitomizes its unique gameplay mechanic.

Tom the postgirl by Oopsie Daisies

Tom the postgirl, developed by Oopsie Daisies, is a whimsical spooky-noir adventure game rendered in captivating hand-drawn 2D graphics. Players assume the role of Tom, a delivery girl who excels in stalking the villagers rather than delivering packages. Throughout the game, players make choices that have far-reaching consequences, adding depth to the storytelling.

Ultimate Godspeed by Ninoko

Ninoko presents Ultimate Godspeed, a party racing game designed for solo play or multiplayer races against friends. To emerge victorious, players can construct shortcuts using ramps and platforms or strategically place traps to eliminate opponents. However, they must be cautious not to fall into their own traps.

Wéko the Mask Gatherer by SIRO GAMES

SIRO GAMES introduces Wéko the Mask Gatherer, an enchanting third-person RPG that follows the journey of Wéko, a gecko collecting masks in a mysterious and atmospheric world. As players explore the meticulously designed environment, they uncover dark secrets while engaging in challenging battles, utilizing the masks’ unique abilities.
