Pearl Abyss today launched the Guardian class in Black Desert on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Using her axe and shield, Guardian delivers powerful, staggering blows in quick succession to knock enemies off their feet.
Check out some of the Guardian’s primary skills:
- Boulder Crush delivers three powerful downward-swings with her battle axe – each blow strong enough to pulverize boulders!
- Mountain Slam slams the ground with her axe, causing powerful waves to ripple out and deal massive damage to surrounding foes.
- Black Blood Circle allows Guardian to instill her battle axe with the power of the earth, creating a circle around her. All who enter the circle will take severe damage.
- Mutilation uses her might to sweep enemies aside with a massive swing of her battle axe.
- Black Blood Slaughter unleashes her gathered power with a swing of her battle axe with a force strong enough to split mountains.
To celebrate the Guardian’s arrival to the game, new login rewards will be available for all players, including Crone stones, Advice of Valks, 7 days Value Package, Gold bars, Ellion tears, and much more!
Black Desert also added Succession skill systems for three of its classes – Lahn, Striker, and Ninja. Succession skills are a more beefed up version of a character’s main weapon skills. Succession becomes available after a player reaches Awakening, from then they can complete a questline to gain access to their Succession Skill tree.
Finally, Adventurers can now purchase the first ever physical package of Black Desert with a “Prestige Edition” coming to selected on and offline retail stores on November 6th for Xbox One. The first ever physical package for Black Desert Console, the Prestige Edition comes with bonus content worth over $140 which includes Exclusive Pet Black Leopard, limited edition glorious Shudad premium set, 30 days value pack, and many more!
