Thrustmaster will be attending the RAF Air Tattoo & EAA AirVenture AirShows continuing their global tour de force

After being briefly teased at E3 and then kept tightly under wraps following the show, the brand new TPR Pendular Rudder from Thrustmaster will finally make its grand showing at two iconic airshows in July 2018.

The story continues on July 13th, where Thrustmaster will be present for the 47th year of the Royal International Air Tattoo air show, held at the prestigious Royal Air Force base in Fairford, UK.

From July 13th, the rudder will be available for preorder on our website http://www.thrustmaster.com, ahead of its official release on July 23. For the launch, an exciting release event is planned at the EAA AirVenture Airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA.

Thrustmaster will meet flight enthusiasts during these events and provide them with the chance to test the TPR and show off its accuracy even compared against professional aviation realism at these shows

Thrustmaster’s 25 years of dedication and experience has been put to the test to meet the challenge of this long-standing community request.

Thrustmaster has yet again stepped up its game with this new rudder system which has been developed in close coordination with many aviation professionals, and designed with the constant implementation of community feedback.

ERGONOMICS AND REALISM

  • Using the PENDUL_R technology and its suspended mechanism, Thrustmaster has been able to create optimal flexibility that translates the user’s movements with perfect fluidity.
  • This allows the new rudder to offer a unique experience each and every play session.
  • The differential brakes, which are ergonomically designed yet still realistic, provide perfect handling control.
  • The rudder’s metal base, which provides rock-solid stability for even the most hectic moments of play, is one of the strongest features of this colossal piece of hardware, even when used without a cockpit.

VERSATILITY AND PRECISION

  • The features of the TPR Pendular Rudder do not stop there.
  • It also includes two adjustment points with 5 positions for each pedal, offering a range of angles from 35° to 75°: enough to easily adapt to any play style.
  • And as a finishing touch: the H.E.A.R.T. technology* (with magnetic sensor) provides unequalled smoothness and precision (recognition down to the thousandth degree) thanks to the 16-bit resolution on each of the 3 axes.
  • Finally, as the springs are adjustable (two springs are included), you can easily fine-tune the resistance however you want.

T.A.R.G.E.T.: THE ULTIMATE ASSET

  • Suitable for both close combat and space flight simulations, this rudder uses the T.A.R.G.E.T software to improve the playing experience.
  • The ability to combine other Thrustmaster devices provides modularity and customization for the gaming controls.
  • You’ll be able to show off your entire Thrustmaster flight simulation system with some of your favorite games including: DCS, War Thunder, X-Plane, Flight Sim World, Elite Dangerous, and many more!
  • With this next-generation rudder, the Hotas Warthog has found its perfect companion, further strengthening the Thrustmaster flight sim ecosystem.
