Today, Ubisoft® announced that Rainbow Six Esports will hold its regional North American Six Major, August 14th-16th where the top four teams from the North American League will compete in a double elimination bracket to stake their claim as the best team in the North American League for Stage 1 of the 2020 Season and gain Global Points towards qualification for the Six Invitational. Sunday’s play day will also contain the full Season reveal of Operation Shadow Legacy, including recently announced Operator Sam Fisher. The August Major 2020 will stream on twitch.tv/rainbow6 starting at tomorrow August 14 at 12:30 pm EDT.
The First Stage of the North American League set a new bar for jaw-dropping competition in the new regional esports ecosystem. Teams Spacestation Gaming, Oxygen Esports, and Team SoloMid secured their spot in the Major through ranking top three this Stage, with DarkZero Esports securing their spot through the North American Qualifier.
All of these teams have proved themselves both in North America and on the Global Stage, as each team attended the 2020 Six Invitational, the very same event their performance in this Major will play a part in their journey towards. Between current World Champions Spacestation Gaming, powerhouse TSM, the dominant Oxygen Esports, and never-to-be-underestimated DarkZero Esports –the competition in the North American Six Major is sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

Ubisoft will be releasing six special charms for those who tune in during the North American Six August 2020 Majors. Watch time will be accumulated across multiple Twitch channels and regional competitions. The more interested parties watch, the more charms earned. All viewers must link their Twitch accounts with their UPLAY account to be able to earn the drops while watching the event!
There are Six in-game weapon charms that can be universally equipped: Bronze, Copper, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. The longer viewers watch, the higher ranked the charm.
