Three gaming industry titans, Just For Games, Bevel Bakery, and Abiding Bridge, are excited to unveil the PC release of their collaborative endeavor, Sclash. This highly anticipated 2D versus fighting game, with its distinctive one-hit-kill mechanic, is now downloadable on renowned gaming platforms, Steam and GOG.
Sclash: Cutting Edge Tension at EVO
Further adding to the excitement, Sclash made its presence felt during the EVO event, offering free play as well as a tournament with enticing prizes up for grabs. Event attendees even had the chance to snag an exclusive free skin for their in-game character, adding another layer of personalization to the gameplay experience.
Availability: Future Platforms on the Horizon
While currently available for PC users on Steam and GOG, Sclash is set to slash its way onto Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox later this year, extending its engaging gameplay to console users worldwide.
Gameplay: Master the Art of Samurai Duels
Sclash is an engrossing game that is straightforward to learn but demands mastery. The gameplay revolves around tension-packed samurai fights, where one well-placed hit can mean the difference between victory and defeat. With beautifully hand-drawn samurais in exquisite painted settings, the players find themselves in the heart of epic and solemn duels. Strategic management of stamina and breath is crucial for landing a deadly hit.
Features: Multiple Characters, Stages, and Skins
In Sclash, players can choose from five different characters and engage in offline or online battles* on any of the 16 stunning stages. As players progress, they can unlock over 50 unique skins for their samurais, allowing for a high level of character customization.
Story Mode: A Journey Through Japanese Culture
Immersing players further, Sclash also incorporates a Story Mode. It offers an intriguing narrative inspired by Japanese culture, particularly revolving around the clash between the Aki and Natsu clans, adding depth and context to the in-game battles.

While the initial release offers the ability to play online through Remote Play Together, the development team is hard at work finalizing the Rollback Netcode Online Mode. To ensure the best possible gaming experience, this feature will be slightly postponed until it perfectly aligns with the team’s vision.
