Stunlock Studios has unveiled the release date for the upcoming “Secrets of Gloomrot” expansion for the popular vampire survival game, V Rising. Scheduled for release on May 17th, the free expansion coincides with the game’s one-year anniversary celebration. V Rising has amassed over 3 million sales since its Early Access launch, and the expansion promises to deliver a plethora of new content for players.
“Secrets of Gloomrot” introduces a new biome, Gloomrot, which includes two distinct areas that have been transformed by the pursuit of dark science. Players can hunt for the blood of the madly ingenious to gain control over lightning and unlock new technological advancements. The expansion also brings significant enhancements to castle building, such as multi-floor constructions, castle territory claims, and additional customization options.
Combat in V Rising will see increased diversity with the introduction of new weapon types, a new spell school, and the jewel system that allows players to modify their spells according to their preferences. The world of Vardoran has been revamped with updated visuals, new points of interest, items, and enemy types. Furthermore, players can challenge themselves by facing 13 new bosses to acquire dark knowledge.
The “Secrets of Gloomrot” expansion for V Rising will be available for free on May 17th, offering players an opportunity to explore new territories, enhance their combat skills, and expand their castle domains.
