Warframe’s Duviri Paradox Update: A Time-Looping Cinematic Quest for All Players

Digital Extremes, the global games developer and publisher, has launched Warframe’s much-anticipated free update, The Duviri Paradox, across all platforms. This update invites all players to experience a time-looping journey through Duviri’s ever-changing multidimensional world, making it the first story-driven cinematic update accessible to all players regardless of their experience with the game.

The Duviri Paradox brings an innovative approach to open-world design, providing a unique experience that maintains the core elements of Warframe’s gameplay. This update revolves around the Drifter before transitioning into the next multi-year narrative arc that delves deeper into the Drifter and Operator’s journey.

Upon starting Warframe for the first time, new players will have two choices: beginning their journey with The Duviri Paradox as the Drifter or embarking on the game’s main path with a Warframe. Returning players will find The Duviri Paradox Quest available in their codex, with Duviri appearing on their Star Chart upon the update’s launch. Post-Quest gameplay in Duviri offers three game modes to suit various players: ‘The Circuit,’ ‘The Duviri Experience,’ and ‘The Lone Story.’

Duviri’s fractured and ever-shifting open world features an array of new challenges and rewards. The landscape is dominated by floating islands ruled by Dominus Thrax, whose mood spirals through Fear, Anger, Joy, Envy, and Sorrow, each affecting the environments, combat, and interactions within the world.

The update also improves the Drifter experience by upgrading the melee combat system and adding Intrinsics for players to enhance their Combat, Riding Abilities, Opportunity, and Endurance. Players can engage in side activities that reward Decrees, Intrinsics, Resources, and more.

Experienced players can benefit from the new Incarnon Genesis System, allowing them to install Incarnon Adapters on eligible weapons and unlock improvements for use in-mission. These adapters are exclusively available in Steel Path Circuit missions on Duviri.

New Supporter Pack and Bundle content is available for purchase with Platinum in Warframe’s in-game Market, allowing players to customize their appearance and weaponry. The update also introduces TennoGen Bundles, a collection of community-designed customizations, including new weapon and armor cosmetics.

The Duviri Paradox also unites core Warframe aspects with everything related to the Drifter. The Undercroft, a broken Void space beneath Duviri’s floating islands, offers a full Warframe experience with custom arenas, Decrees, and a mix of known enemies and new threats.
