Polish developer Jujubee S.A. has just revealed their latest project COVID: The Outbreak in an Announcement Trailer. The game brings educational awareness and challenging gameplay to players all around the world during the ongoing pandemic. COVID: The Outbreak will be available on May 29, 2020 on PC (Steam) with a $13.99/€11.99 price point, alongside a -10% discount on release day. The developer does not exclude publishing the game on other platforms in the future.
Jujubee would also like to announce that 20% of all net Steam sales throughout the month of May and June will be donated to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and other charitable foundations supporting the fight against the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
COVID: The Outbreak is a real-time strategy game in which you play the role of a global organization that has to deal with a global pandemic. Issue decrees, manage resources, develop projects, and construct buildings. A race for the vaccine begins!
In addition to crisis management, the game provides the players with information on how to behave in the event of an epidemic, what actions to take, and how to protect themselves and their loved ones in the most effective way. The game is based on the data published by WHO and on the information acquired from experts and consultants.
