Event Overview
The Game Devs of Color Expo (GDoCExpo), an annual event focused on amplifying the voices of people of color in the gaming industry, is slated to return in an online format from September 18 to 21, 2024. Call for Participation
Starting today, GDoCExpo invites industry professionals to submit applications to become panelists, speakers, or to showcase their games. The initiative seeks to provide a stage for individuals to share their insights, experiences, and creations with a wider community. Notably, the expo emphasizes a supportive approach by offering compensation to all speakers and waiving submission or exhibition fees for developers. Additionally, selected speakers and games will be considered for GDoCExpo’s grants, which award up to $25,000 to support game creators of color. Since 2019, the organization has distributed $390,000 in grants.
