Games Done Quick’s all-women speedrunning event Flame Fatales 2021 concluded on Saturday night, with a final total of $126,862.40 raised for the Malala Fund. Organized by Games Done Quick’s Frame Fatales community, the event was broadcast live on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel and GamesDoneQuick.com from August 15th – 21st, 2021.
The donation total represents a new milestone for Frame Fatales, surpassing its previous donation record of $81,396.18 at Fleet Fatales 2020. Highlights of Flame Fatales 2021 included therpgchick’s run of Legend Of Mana, Fell’s run of a super-challenging custom Celeste map, and Char_Bunny’s run of Super Mario Maker for the 3DS.
The next Frame Fatales event will be Frost Fatales taking place February 27th – March 5th, 2022.
