Netmarble has unveiled an exciting new update for their PC Action MOBA title, Paragon: The Overprime, featuring the introduction of the new hero Drongo and the Exploration Base system designed to help new players get up to speed quickly.
In Paragon: The Overprime, players can now choose the eccentric ranger hero, Drongo. Armed with an arsenal that includes pistols, bazookas, and grenades, Drongo has joined the battlefield with the condition that he can take various scrap materials from the Shakkadian Empire Army for his store “Drongo Goods.” Drongo’s key skills include Pistol Shot, Rusty Boomerang, Gas Bomb, Uranium Rounds, and his ultimate move, Shrapnel Bazooka.

The Exploration Base is a new feature aimed at helping new players enjoy the game more easily. After completing the first stage of the original tutorial, Exploration Base becomes available, offering two modes: Exploration Pass and Exploration Supply. These modes function as daily missions designed to provide players with rewards and valuable supplies, enabling them to catch up to veteran players more quickly.
The Exploration Pass allows new players to level up and obtain rewards with no expiration date. Once players reach the maximum level and obtain all rewards, the pass automatically ends. Exploration Supply is available as a daily bonus for players who log in for seven consecutive days, with rewards varying based on the number of consecutive days logged in. On the second day of check-in, players can earn a Rare skin, while on the seventh day, they can earn a valuable Legendary skin.
In addition to the new hero and Exploration Base feature, several in-game improvements have been added for all players to enjoy. A Heroic Grade skin has been introduced to celebrate Drongo’s release, along with the Courageous Phoenix skin (Rare grade) for Iggy & Scorch and Showdown skin (Rare grade) for Countess. Various heroes and items have been rebalanced, and new items have been added, giving players even more tactical variety on the battlefield. Netmarble plans to continue working on improvements, UI enhancements, and more in future updates.5
