Razer Drops New Streetwear Capsule to Support Marine Plastics Recovery Efforts.
Razer, the leading gaming lifestyle brand, is dropping an all-new streetwear capsule made from 100% recycled materials that will further the company’s #GoGreenWithRazer Initiative through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations in South East Asia. As part of the drop, Razer is committing to recovering 1KG of plastic from the ocean for each piece of clothing from the lineup sold.
The gear’s design is based on the famous Great Wave of Kanagawa artwork but with a new spin that brings attention to the millions of pounds of plastic polluting the earth’s oceans. The capsule features items such as a zip hoodie, t-shirt, tank top, shorts, and a cap, with prices ranging from $49.99 to $149.99 USD.
The limited-edition apparel line will drop on April 7, 2021, and is expected to sell out in minutes.
Razer today unveils the Kanagawa Wave Apparel collection, a range of limited-edition clothing made with materials created from recovered marine plastics. The apparel, emblazoned with a stylized take on the famous Great Wave off Kanagawa woodcarving, is designed to highlight the issue of marine plastics pollution and will fund efforts in reducing marine plastics to protect the oceans and their inhabitants.

The fabrics are manufactured under a wider program to remove marine plastics from the seas and recycle them into useful products, which now includes Razer’s stylish Kanagawa Wave Apparel.
Proceeds from the Kanagawa Wave collection will go towards the recovery of marine plastics in some of the world’s most affected areas of coastline and marine life. For every piece of item sold in this collection, Razer will fund the recovery of 1kg of marine plastics.
