Modiphius Entertainment Announces Season of the Snake Event for Achtung! Cthulhu 2D20

Modiphius Entertainment is set to launch the Season of the Snake event, a three-week celebration leading up to the release of The Serpent and the Sands campaign book for Achtung! Cthulhu 2D20. The event features short PDF Priority Mission tie-ins, a Let’s Play Series, AMAs, a design competition, and the Print and PDF release of the campaign book.

The Serpent and the Sands campaign book serves as a complete guide to North Africa for Achtung! Cthulhu 2D20 players and GMs. It includes a 10-part campaign that takes players from Alexandria to Cairo and beyond, new character options, a comprehensive guide to the Serpent People, and a free digital copy of John Houlihan’s novella, Tomb of the Aeons. The campaign book will be released in Print and PDF on April 18th, 2023, and is available for pre-order on Modiphius’s US and UK storefronts.

During the Season of the Snake event, Modiphius will release two Section M: Priority Files, providing players with main missions, maps, and adventure seeds. The first, Our Lady of the Eternal Sapphire, launches on April 11th, and the second, Raid on Zuara 2, will be released on April 25th.

Sky Hammer Press is set to host a six-part Let’s Play series, giving players a chance to see Achtung! Cthulhu 2D20 in action and learn about the game mechanics. Additionally, the development team will hold two AMAs (Asp Me Anything) on April 18th and April 25th to discuss the creation of The Serpent and the Sands and the future of the Achtung! Cthulhu series.

Modiphius is also hosting a design competition for a new Section M: Priority Mission, where the best submissions will receive prizes and be published as official Achtung! Cthulhu releases.
